Game isn’t functioning correctly

I am new to modding.  I added a few mods and the game won’t work.  I added a Buddy Murphy mod then I tried to get an arena from CC and it said download is damaged.  Then I went it alternate creation suite an attempted to created an alternative attire for John Cena the game froze.  Now when I try to mod the game won’t won’t.  I tried to uninstall but now I just have blank spots on the bottom of the selection screen.   I didn’t back up the game.  I’m new and didn’t know I was supposed to.  
 

Do I need to delete the game and  buy it again? 
Any help would be appreciated.

No, you don't have to buy the game again. You can uninstall and reinstall the game if you wish (which I guess you already did), but in your case it's probably best if you started a new save game as well.

By the way, if you're new to modding, read the Installing Mods Wiki page and follow the instructions there (it also includes instructions on how to backup/restore or start a new save game). The page includes detailed instructions and if you follow them exactly you shouldn't have any trouble.

Thank you for  your help. I followed the instructions and the installed mods still do not show p in the game. Do you have any other recommendations?
