Ricochet help

So I've tried installing two different Ricochet mods. I am having a problem because the mod only seems to properly inject the ring attire. His entrance attire for some reason always reverts to his in-game one. I am also having a problem with Corey Graves. He doesnt import properly and shows up in game under Ryder as "5874 Empty String to be Filled".

Hi, Did you change the ID for the Ricochet mod in a Hxd. It seems the game can't find the character model for the entrance , that's why it loads the ring attire model. 

It seems the pofo file you have installed for Corey Graves hasn't got the string ID for his name set correctly.

How would I go about fixing any of this? I am very new to modding. As far as Corey goes, do you know of any working pofo for him?

Have you got Data Editor, Hxd and CCT installed on your PC ?

You can easily create a .pofo and .moveset yourself with Data Editor.

Also, it may be a good idea to read the Wiki page Installing Mods for instructions on how to install mods properly. When you follow the instructions and install mods with Custom Character Tools you shouldn't run into issues like IDs being set wrong, etc..

I have CCT. Thats the only thing I have been using to mod. How can I fix the Ricochet issue?

You can't use CCT alone for mods. You need to have other tools like Data Editor and Hxd handy.

If you are installing mods through CCT (right click on the character name with the game closed, select IMPORT -CH PAC FILES) ensure you are installing the entrance attire and the ring attire in the right places. 

I assume you already know how the characters pacs are named .

second thing is, are you installing this as an alternate attire or are you replacing the character pac which came with the game.

If you aren't familiar with these, you will first need to read through the INSTALLING MODS wiki page.

I do have Data Editor for the rare thing I need to use it for. I fixed the Corey Graves issue but the Ricochet one remains. All my other mods I have installed simply using CCT work great. And to answer your question, I just replace the default attire when installing attires. Ricochet seems to be the only one who wont work right.

Can you send me the chink0.def file in your main 2k19 folder ?
