Game crashes sometimes when entering Universe Mode or any Creation Suites

I have a lot of mods downloaded and installed and sometimes when I try loading a universe mode my game crashes.

It's common for me to actually get into universe mode, but once I enter any of the creation suites after, the game crashes. 

What should I make sure to check and/or look at to remedy the issue?

Might be your memory filling up. How much free HDD space, System RAM and Video RAM do you have?
