Custom Arenas causing low fps

Hi there, I've seen this talked about from time to time - the fact that some custom arenas cause the fps to drop, causing the game to play in slow motion - just wondering if anyone knows specifically what it is about some custom arenas that causes this?

I'd like to be able to 'fix' some with this problem

What hardware do you have? User generated content usually requires more performance, so there may be hardware limitations in place. In general, the better your system is, the less you will see this. You could try to reduce your resolution and/or some image quality settings and see if that helps.

Also, depending on what GFX Card your system has, you can manually force the system to give you better performance and lower graphical options without sacrificing how the game looks. Nvidia cards have an Nvidia Control Panel where you can manually Manage 3D settings to reduce or turn off stuff such as bloom, texture filtering, interpolation, etc. which will greatly reduce the strain on your PC.

But above that, yes, this game basically pumps out as much as your PC is willing to give.
