somerandodude Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 For instance, bray wyatt'14 has a black minitron and walltron. Even in CAE if you select on, it is still black, any way to fix this? Also Rowan has turned off trons, i can change that in CAE but if i do, the trons that i injected into him will just become arena movies. I could replace some other wrestlers trons for rowans, but im just interested if there is a way to remove something like this Quote

It can be removed but will require removing blocks of data from the effects file. Some of the individual data bytes are hard to figure out but its possible . 1 Quote

I was also wondering if you could help with another problem. On the titavius sd arena wrestlers glitch throught the ramp. I know what to do and i extracted the 0002 file from misc01_start.pac. So now i just need to change one number, but i dont get what "you'll see the first 02 at the 1CDB offset. That is the byte for stage geo. Raw = 2, SDL = 3, Classic stage ramps = 1, Flat = 0." means. Where do i change the number so it either has or doesnt have a ramp for the entrances Quote

Do you have another arena mod installed? Quote

I downloaded both arenas this week so i feel like an update to fix that is unlikely to have come out, but i dont know. Quote

The thing is,all arena mods will share the same misc01 file. You can only use one at a time . If you are using the misc01 for one of the other arena mods, then these two arenas wouldn't work properly in your game. This all depends on what parameters each modder modified. The workaround to this is carefully merging the modified misc01 data for each arena mod into one misc01 file which will involve some editing and making sure no two arenas are using the same slot. Ah ok, thank you! This was very helpful! Quote
ranky5443 Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 (edited) I had this exact problem with SD 2020. I didn't need to merge anything but rather just change it in wrestleminus to get it to acknowledge the ramp existed. Which you seemed to be onto in your earlier post. I believe it was SDL, but I forget off hand. But try some different ones and see which one worked. You're on the right track there. I'm a novice at arena modding so I won't tell you I know for sure whats happening for you. But I've managed to get Titavius' SD 2020, Raw 2020, as well as a multi-arena mod after those working at the same time and I believe I never imported another misc04_arena file after the SD one that I did first. Sorry if that didn't help, but I think you might have been on the right track for the ramp. You can try things out as long as you make a back up file of whatever you're editing so you can replace it if needed. I've since been trying to figure out how to get the game to place a different arena as the royal rumble arena in wrestleminus. I'm not sure its possible without simply overwriting, but I figured I'd try. Edited March 27, 2020 by ranky5443 2 Quote

Where do i change the number so it either has or doesnt have a ramp for the entrances Now lets get to this real quick. You will need to ensure the geometry for @Titavius SD 2020 arena in the SD live slot is set to 2 as it's 3 by default. A simple way is to open the misc01_start.pac file with a hex editor HxD (You don't need to extract the 02 file) Search for A041 (Hex values search) .A041 (41A0) is the name string ID for the Smackdown live arena. You need the first search result. You will see a number which I have highlighted in the offset position . This is the geometry value. It will be set to 3 by default. You will need to change this value to 2 and save. If its set to 2, you don't need to do anything. Ensure a copy of this file is also placed in the 2k19\mods\universal alternate attire unlock\pac\root folder if you have a mods folder as the game will read the copy placed in this location. Rebuild the def file and launch your game. Edited March 27, 2020 by squaredcirclefan Quote

Sorry that you had to go throught more trouble than necessary! Quote
