DoubleAgent74 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 OK...years and years ago, I backed up my 2K14 save to my PC in case I needed it again. Now that I have my RGH'd 360, I wanted to try and get that save back. I formatted a 16GB Sandisk flash drive using my 360, plugged it into my PC, and copied the save over to it. Then I rehashed and resigned everything in Horizon using my new profile ID. But when I plugged the drive into the 360, started 2K14 and chose my flash drive as the storage device, I got an error saying that no save was detected. So I went to the original Xbox dashboard and looked in Settings > Storage, and it turns out that the console isn't seeing any of the four game saves I had on the flash drive. They're there, but the system is ignoring them. Is there any way to make the system see my old save, or is it lost forever? Quote
Red Rooster Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Is the save in the right folder structure eg. "Profile ID"/"Game ID"/00000001 Quote

There's a root folder called "Xbox360" containing 8 files called Data0001, Data0002, etc. I made this backup about 5 years ago, so it was long before I had any idea what I was doing. Thats not a 2k14 Save, a 2k14 save should contain a file called SaveData.dat and a bunch of .cas files for all the created superstars Quote

Could I maybe use this to rebuild my save somehow? Edited March 14, 2020 by DoubleAgent74 Quote
