Intergender and Help Setting Up for Someone New to 2K 19

Hi,

So I haven't played this game since WWE 2K16...  

I installed Custom Character Tools and Data Editor -- No problem with them.  Tested them out , they work.

Then I tried installing Pozzum's WrestlePLUS, and suddenly I have problems.  At the beginning it asks whether you want to "inject a PAC" or something like that, then download a bunch of things -- I don't really know what these things are.  I figured they were something I probably wanted since they were checked by default. 

But after downloading them, my game crashed.   On a reload, it says -- Please wait, you are running a modded WWE 2K 19 and it may take longer to load.  But it never loads. I actually had to go back into steam and verify integrity of game files... 

Does WrestlePlus still work with WWK 2K19?  I haven't seen Pozzum in awhile...  So my first thought was maybe this is a tool that is no longer being supported.

All I really wanted to do was set up intergender matches.  I know I could do it with just Custom Character Tools and Data Editor -- by changing the gender of any default superstar in their respective pofo file, saving the pofo file, and importing it.  I have found though when I try to change the gender of a CAW it messes up the graphics of my CAW; the characters look like they have bruises on them.   I was intrigued by WrestlePlus because it has a "Manage Gender" button.  It looked easier than manually editing 100's of pofo files with Custom Creation Tools/Data Editor.  But now I'm thinking it doesn't work or I didn't set it up right...

Aside from CCT and Data Editor -- What else should I get?  It seems like this game has been modded a lot -- what are the essential mods to this game for a new player?
