moezilla Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Hello everyone! I am fairly new to modding with my games and have been having some trouble with adding renders for mods. I'm not having trouble making the render itself as I'm very familiar with Photoshop, but when I add the files to CCT and open the game, the mod for which I applied the render to shows up blank in the menu. I deleted the Chunk0.arc file and Regenerated it, but still to no avail. Quote

I first suggest you try downloading one of the renders from this thread and injecting into your game 1 Quote

I use a 1024x1024 resolution “canvas” and save the photo as a PNG. Then I use a PNG to DDS converter online to convert the file. Is there a different way to convert to or save a photo as a DDS file? BlindedByTheGrace Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Hi, You need the right settings. What software are you using to edit the images? You also wouldn't need to convert to png first. If you are using paint 3D or photoshop with DDS plugin, you should be exporting directly to dds. The filesize of the render shouldn't be larger than the size of the Buddy Murphy render you have download . Quote

Imported the render I made from Photoshop to Paint.net and saved it as a DDS file from there. Thanks for all your help. (Do you by any chance have a template I could use for the renders as the sizing in-game is WAY off) 2 Quote

Open the render in photoshop or paint, import the image as a layer over the first, manually resize it so the renders align, hide the first layer then save. Quote
