Help with Universal Attire Unlocker

Hi, I have a few questions about the universal attire unlock. So I've installed it via CCT and I know you need to access it via Data Editor. But theres certain things I need to clarify.

1. Does it work the for modded Wrestlers?

2. If so, can I use mods of the same wrestler by different creators as alternate attires? E.G. Dudley Boyz Bubba as 1 attire and and Bully Ray as another but Bully Ray would be from a different creator.

3. How do I add alternate attires? Via CCT or do I have to install them manually?

4. Do I use the universal attire unlock while the game is running or when it's not?

5. How do I know if it worked?

1. Yes.

2. Yes.

3. CCT. It will allow you to choose which attire slot to install your ch*.pac files into.

4. Not running.

5. When you can select attires in-game and they actually show up when you play with them.

"An error has occured while trying to generate the file! Please check your permissions, make sure the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam \SteamApps\ common \WWE 2K19\ mods\ Universal Alternate Attire Unlock\ pac root\ miscOl_start_p30.pac is intact and try again!"

I keep getting this message when trying to use Universal attire unlock in Data editor and when I try to reinstall Universal Attire unlock.

I saw on another forum it could have something to do with something called read/write permissions, but I've never even heard of those. So how do I check my permissions and change them if neccessary?

I just thought of another question? Is it at all possible to assign entrance music specific to an attire slot?

Not via Data Editor. You could potentially do it by manually editing the assetconv_p30.pac file that assigns default music to each wrestler/attire.

Hi can you check to ensure you have the misc01_start_p30.pac file in the \WWE 2K19\ mods\ Universal Alternate Attire Unlock\ pac\ root folder.

You can delete the Universal attire unlock folder and try installing again.

It is possible to assign entrance music specifically to an attire slot. You can also assign trons to specific attire slots.

The file which handles this is the assetconv_p30.pac file located in the 2k19/titantronfix folder or the pac/audio folder.

This tutorial here specifically deals with assigning titantrons and modifying the assetconv.pac file. I will suggest going through this first.

First, ensure that you have the latest version of Data Editor for WWE 2k19 installed and aren't missing any of the files and folders Data Editor comes with and also that the game is fully updated on Steam.

This error means that Data Editor can't access the file in question (or the Backups folder when trying to create a backup). Either the file doesn't exist (check it as @squaredcirclefan sugested, if it's missing or corrupted try to reinstall the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock), you have the game path set wrong in Data Editor (use the "Change WWE 2k19 Game Directory" option to set it properly and restart Data Editor), or your Windows user Account doesn't have permission to properly access either the Data Editor directory or the directory the game is installed in (contact your system Administrator to give you permissions or search the web for tutorials on how to do that in your OS if you are the administrator).

So it is installed in the correct location as far as I can tell, but if there is something wrong with the file, how can I tell?

I think I've got all the permissions set. If I'm correct that would involve going to properties and changing the permissions from there, right?

And if I have to reinstall can I do it through CCT like I did originally or through data editor.

Also it doesnt look like there is a backups folder in the data editor directory, unless I'm missing something.

You probably deleted it or didn't extract it to begin with. I'd assume that's your problem. Copy the Backups folder and it's sub-folders from the original Data Editor archive into your Data Editor directory and try again.

You were right it was the backups folder causing the problem and everything works perfectly! Thanks so much for all your help you've really helped lift a weight off my shoulders. I really appreciate it!

  • 1 year later...

I’m having an issue with the attire unlocker. Everything was installed properly and was working at one point and then it just stopped. When I go to save it tells me that the chunk0def can’t be read and to regenerate it. Whenever I do this and go into my game the attires weren’t unlocked. I tried reinstalling but that did not work.
