Universe mods don't appear. Was working fine before.

Hi again all,

Having another weird glitch seems my game went nuts and wiped the save. Whether I use CCT or Xpacker mods do not appear in Universe. I've injected into universe successfully over 100 times, but since my game got wiped the mods fail to show up. I've even tried replacing in game stars, they work fine in singles modes but in universe, nada. Again, I know the method to get them to work normally and have done this many times before, seems now they aren't working at all.

Not sure if I understand, is this related to the other glitch where everything in the game gets erased?

If so for me at least, after I have copy/paste the CCT backup, everything gets back to normal including Universe for me.

C:\Program files (x64)/Steam/user data/266208924/817130 (last number is for 2K19 backup files) 

(not sure if the first number is the same for everyone) 

 

EDIT: need to copy/paste - remotecache.vdf + remote folder

Isn't that just the save file?

Yes, that's all you need. 

It has worked for me every time. All MODS, CAWS, etc... are back in the game.

Universe too.

Im confused. The directory is just save file. There is no backup here. I'm asking if there are backups saved anywhere.

Weird this is what I use and has worked every time. The .vdf file and in the remote folder it should have 2 files in there.
