Creating DDS files?

Recommended Posts

I really would like to learn.

Any help in the right direction is appreciated.

I downloaded a bunch of Renders last night, and I would like to create some for those NOT there.

Like The Patriot, Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund...etc... etc...

OK I created my first Render and I choose George Steele.

I look at the other Render files and they are all 1024 X 1024 and 1MB in size.

I set the image to 1024 X 1024 but the size is smaller at 828KB, will the smaller size be a problem?

Nope. You're all set.

Anything OVER 1MB causes issues I think.

So if you download someone else's render, and it doesn't show in game, open it, re-save it and it should be under 1MB.

I try to upload a dds file image so you guys can tell me if I did good.... or if I should fix something before putting too much time into this, I like to know if I am doing... ok.

But postimage.org says it doesn't recognize the format.

Where should I upload them to?

OK... but how then can I upload the files when done to share them.

HELP!

I wake up today and ALL renders that I have had installed are gone!

Back to the dark silhouette! :(

Did I missed something?

I thought they are supposed to stay in once installed.

Use CCT to rebuild the Chunk0.def (Full option). If CCT isn't updated to the latest version, update to the latest version and install your renders again (older versions had some issues with renders). Many other .def rebuilders won't play nicely with added renders.

This could be, I rebuild the Chunk0.def with Wrestle Plus .... I use CCT and try again.

Thank you.

EDIT: You were right,  reinstalled the Renders, Rebuilt def, restart the game a few times and they are still there!

Thank you!
