Help With Modding Tag Team Entrance

According to the 2k18 files spreadsheet, the trio entrance and enzo/cass 1 do NOT have lighting files.

But Enzo's solo entrance has a lighting file, but in the .def format.

Its el00243.def. And 2k19 already has a file with the same name.

The lights file is a pac file. The def file is just a text document with information about the light.

Oh.

The spreadsheet says the pac file with the same name belongs to Sami Zayn though. Not enzo.

My enzo port DOES have the right lighting.

oh sorry. I didn't know you are referring to Enzo's solo entrance.

The ID has been assigned to another entrance in 2k19.

The 2k18  Enzo entrance file will need to be assigned a different ID for 2k19. same as any effects and light files.

Yeah. The Enzo & Cass 1 and the trios entrance files don't have a lighting file. But Enzo 1 does.

And my Enzo port I have has the proper lighting for his entrance. Also, he has no announcer.

Should I set it to match the tag entrance file and copy the file and then assign the copy to the trio entrance?

I just checked 2k19 Data Editor and I have Enzo's solo entrance set to slot 481.

Enzo's entrance is set to slot 481, there IS an effects file at 481, but no lighting file.

It wouldn't work that way since the position of the lights are different for each entrance. 

I just remembered I had ported this entrance for a user some months ago.

I didnt see his solo entrance when I opened the file up. I saw the victory file for the tag, the tag entrance, trio entrance, tag and trio effects, and theme

Just tested both out and they are the exact same. Nothing different.

Jojo still announces.

I have removed the ring announcer data from the Duo entrance. Here is the modified entrance file.

I performed the same steps with the trio entrance , but it doesn't work. There might be an override somewhere. Maybe you might want to try the 2k17 trio entrance .

But isn't the trio entrance from 18 and 17 the same?

Also, I did end up getting X-Packer. Now I just need to go through the tutorials on how to use it.

Its probably a 2k19 issue. Even the NAO tag entrance has the ring announcer in 2k19 .

on the slot I placed it in, it does. This might also mean that the ring announcer is disabled for certain slots. I didn't use the original slot.

I used slot 00750 and they have no announcer.

I thought I used the NAO slot in data editor but after checking, it appears I did not

750 is the original slot. The slot numbers in data editor aren't original slots. It depends on what the developers leftover in the game. The ring announcer is disabled for slot 750 and 751 with that entrance. I left it as that as the ring announcer does not interfere with the speech, and in a real match, they are actually announced sometimes.
