New on the board, can't get Trons to work

Hey guys, first off let me start by THANKING each and everyone here who has created and worked on this board and its amazing content. I'm completely stunned at what you guys were able to archieve regarding the WWE 2K franchise, modding is the best, isnt it?

Some years back, I was pretty active modding the NBA 2K series over at the NLSC board, another great resource for mods if anyone here is a Basketball aficionado like me, just sayin.

WWE 2K9 was on sale last weekend and I gave it a go, only to eventually landing here looking for mods and tutorials. I've spend the last couple of days setting up all the tools, building up a mod archive to eventually insert them once I figure out how to probably work the tools. I'd like to start creating some of my own mods eventually, mainly texture stuff, create alternate attires etc.

EVERYTHING works like a charm, except for inserting the titantrons, and for the life of me I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong. After reading up some tutorials and threads, I have a couple of questions:

1. Is the X-Packer method obsolete (because of patches, mod conflicts?)?

2. When assingning a Tron with CC, does CC automatically create the normal/smackdown/legacy versions of the trons somehow? Or do you manually have to resize the bk2 files?

3. CC tells me to assign the Tron with Data Editor after inserting. Does that mean I have to assign the right number from the string in the moveset file again (or the vanilla number, without the String etry?), even if its already set to that number?

4. Is there a current tutorial anywhere, showing the entire process with CC and Data Editor somewhere?

5. After downloading a GFX pack, do you have to insert the video and hex edit a different vanilla pac file everytime, or are the pac files included usually ready to go?

6. At the current state (August 20th) is it even possible to ADD new titantron files to added mods? Read somewhere it wasn't, not sure if still accurate.

Thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to read this, and anyone who can provide some needed help on the matter.

Looking forward to spend a lot of time here

First, you need to install the Titantron Fix for tron IDs that aren't originally available in the game to work. You can do so by using the Install Mods->Titantron Fix option in CCT.

1. No idea.
2. Yes, it creates all versions (although they are just copies of the file you inject, so they will be stretched to fit by the game).
3. You just need to open the .moveset file in Data Editor, select the correct ID for each tron video, then save and install the .moveset file via CCT.
4. Yes, it's covered on the Installing_Mods and the Data Editor for WWE 2k19 Tutorials on the Wiki pages.
5. If the ID is correct, they are ready to go. If not, you can hex edit them or extract the .bk2 file of each tron type and re-install it via CCT.
6. Yes. Check out the relevant entry concerning trons in the Installing_Mods Wiki page for instructions.
