Sound Editor Custom in game soundtrack

I attempted to edit the games sound track by importing my own mp3 files over the the default ones in the soundtrack_m.pck file, but for some reason when I run the game the default music still plays. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it maybe possible that the file size of the songs imported is too big or is this the wrong file to edit all together. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Try a different .pck file. There are multiple ones with the same menu sounds and only one works (not sure which one on top of my head, but you might be able to find it in the FAQ in the top post). Also, don't forget to use the menu music patcher. Don't forget to only inject things with Sound Editor while the game isn't running, too.

You did not read the "Tutorials" section in the SE thread, otherwise you would have found this:

Don't ask why... It makes no sense, but they were too lazy to remove that duplicate content.

@Matthous24How did you get it to work? Mine still plays the old songs for a 2 seconds and cuts off to another theme, as if they aren't load properly.

I have the same issue. I’ve injected dozens of themes though, menu music is the only one I can’t get to work lol

 

nvm. Never knew about the patcher thing. Gonna try that.
