Importing older animations from 2007 to current titles possible?

Hello, 

Is there any way to take animations from an older Yukes title like Wrestle Kingdom 2 and put them into the current Yukes/ 2k games? I would like to import some moves from that game into the current game and needed to know if that's possible, and where to start if it is. I realize that its an older game, but  thought it may be possible because its made by the same team. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Hi,

No it's not possible to use animations from the older games on current gen Yukes games. It might be possible on last gen Yukes games.

The Current gen Yukes animation files contain much more motion data for the model movement ,bone and joint movement etc. These are all now fully motion captured

animations which the current game engine is designed for.

Most last gen motions from that period in time are hand drawn/hand crafted animations .
