Hi all,

I just installed the Attitude Era Bossman and realised that his gear is absolutely shiny in 2k19. I fixed the skin tone but am not sure how to fix the normal map.

I am working with paint.net, as this is the only tool I have. are there any suggestions how to fix this?

Thank you all in advance and have a nice evening

You have to find the .yobj file for the item of clothing that is shiny, then open it in reShape(can be found on the 2KM website), then where it says Shader Mutator you click on the drop arrow and select HBK Jeans(at least this is the one I chose for Bossman's attire) then save and reinject the file.  If you still have shininess issues after doing this, you have to edit/create an _mr texture file that corresponds with that item of clothing, this is found in the 000A texture archive for that wrestler.  Brighter green makes it less shiny and darker green makes it more shiny(or vice-versa I can't remember exactly).

I think you can also open the .yobj in X-Rey, right click on the .obj that is shiny and then "edit material effect", I'm fairly sure the lower the # is the less shiny it will be.

I remember having issues with Bossman and needed to do 2 or more of these things to get it looking good.  Here is a Bossman that I already fixed for 2k19 to save you the trouble ;) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Hyt_M7fdgagrIVzr-ol5nYWQSokX2EdF
