Creation studio female glitch

Here I am again asking for help from the community. I've tried to sit on this issue longer in hopes of figuring out the issue but I can't seem to nail it down. I am hopeful someone here has some insight. 

So my issue is that I am trying to edit non-mod female wrestlers in game. Keep in mind, I mean default characters like Alexa Bliss or Stephanie McMahon. I went into the creation studio to create a new attire. But when I get inside, their clothing is glitched into their bodies or missing layers. (Even on the non-modded default wrestlers.) I click on "import attire" and it only takes me to male wrestler attire options. So I can't import a female attire to say...Alexa Bliss. But I can import Kane's for some reason. I go into the edit outfits mode and it still is only giving the women male clothing options. I've opened wrestle plus to check genders and Alexa and Stephanie are still showing as female. I've even alternated their genders to see if that fixes it. It seems that EVERY default female in the game only loads into creation studio as male. What have I done wrong and what can I do to fix it? (So far, verifying file integrity on steam hasn't worked either)

Hi,

You probably need to delete your save file.  Obviously you will have to reinstall the pofo and moveset files for your mods.This is located in the programfiles(x86)/ steam/user data folder/817130.

Have you set these wrestlers to male, by any chance (people usually do this to have male vs. female wrestlers in a match)? Set their gender back to female using CCT or Data Editor and try to edit them again.

I did not. But I did go in and try to reset them just in case but that didn't fix it. I'm not much on changing their genders. I do see the benefit in that it gives access to male clothing articles lol

I actually did this yesterday. The odd thing is, it fixed it for a few minutes. But as soon as I started installing mods again, the glitch reappeared. As far as I can tell, it's not a certain mod that does it. I can uninstall the mods (I had 3 at that time) and it still is there after uninstalling them. I'm perplexed on how installing these guys is causing this. All I had installed at this point was Rob Van Dam, Cameron, Kaitlyn and Taz. Any thoughts?

Hi,

The problem seems to be with the save. 

When you deleted your save file, the problem was fixed. What happens is the same corrupt game save stored in the cloud downloading automatically from steam and overwriting the new save file.

What you want to do is, open Steam, highlight the 2k19 game from the library tab, right click and select Properties.

Click on the updates tab and untick " enable steam cloud synchronization for wwe 2k19"

click close.

Delete your game save again.

I double checked and I have that turned off already. I start with a fresh save each time. I go in, delete, remove from the recycling bin and then load up the game. Everything works fine until I start installing mods again. I don't know what it could be at this point. Unless it's specific mods.

Unless its the pofo for one of the mods you are installing is a pofo converted from one of the previous games. You might want to try installing with the pofo for a 2k19 superstar and see what happens. You can uninstall the pofo after.

I gave this a shot. I deleted my save and started fresh again. This time, I only tried to install Tazz by bravebird. I started on the main menu, checked to see if I could edit Alexa Bliss like usual. I could. So I went back to the main menu, exported a 2k19 Pofo and moveset for Booker T. Edited them to become ones for Tazz. Even changed the commentary ID to Tazz for safe keeping. Installed using CCT and it still glitches. And I can't uninstall Tazz to fix the glitch. I have to close out the window and delete the save. It seems that once it saves, the glitch just becomes part of the game.  Here is a picture for posterity.

It's the one ported for 2k19. I think I may have found the issue though I'm not sure if it's one everyone has? I used the suggested slot on CCT. I installed him to a different slot and it works fine and I'm not getting the glitch when installing the other mods at this point. I'm carefully installing them one at a time again to be sure it isn't anyone else.

Aha. Slot 257 is originally the "female Superstar". That's probably what the game uses to determine the base style for the CAW mode. So I guess it would be better to put a female wrestler in that slot instead. Odd, since I don't think it worked like that in previous games.

Curious, what happens if you set Tazz in that slot to Female using CCT's quick actions? Does it work again? I wonder if it's related to the gender set in that slot or the model in the slot itself (I'd supect the former, but it would be cool if you could test it).

You got me curious. I guess it isn't the Tazz mod itself but the slot. I did what you said above. I installed Tazz like normal and injected his pofo and moveset. As you can see in the first picture below, I go into edit mode and we get Alexa Bliss needing men's clothes. So I imported Kane's attire onto her since only men options were available. But I exited back to the main menu and used CCT's gender swap option under quick options and viola, Alexa was back to normal! So guess you can only use female pofo's and movesets in slot 257.

As I suspected. Thanks for testing this. 256 probably must be male to not break male CAW mode as well.
