New tag team victories are all “steel 1”

Hi all,

I’m not sure why, but anytime I make a new stable/tag team, when they win, their victory music is “steel 1” even though I’ve changed the victory music for both the superstar AND the tag team to the appropriate music.

Has anyone else encountered this or know of any workarounds? I made a whole ton of tag teams and tag team CAWs, but this glitch is like game-ruining for me.

PS - I am using the sound editor as well, but it hasn’t caused me other issues really.

PPS - Does anyone else have the sound glitch out whenever a victory cutscene happens? Like it’ll play twice after the match at the same time? Any suggestions for that?

Do you have Advanced Entrances (singles) set for any of the wrestlers involved when any of said glitches happen? If so, don't use an advanced entrance for them and use a basic entrance for each one instead.

Alas, there have been various known bugs with entrance music when wrestlers with advanced entrances are in a match that the lazy 2k/Yuke's employees neglected to fix in WWE 2k19 (the glitches first appeared in WWE 2k17, I believe, but were fixed in later patches there, 2k18 was free of them and they re-surfaced in 2k19), often setting all of them to basic entrances (yes, even if it's a tag team match and they have tag team entrances/victories set and aren't actually using their singles entrances) will solve these issues. To my knowledge, this is a problem on all platforms, by the way, not just the PC version.

Another thing you could try is set singles victory music for both basic and advanced entrances as well as victory as well as tag and trio (yes, even if you don't have 3+ wrestlers in the team) entrance victory music to the music you want and/or set it to use entrance music for victories, maybe one of those things help.

Thank you so much for the reply! I had set every possible victory music I could think of for the superstars, but I did not look at the “advanced entrances” like you said. I’ll give that a try this morning and report back tomorrow. 

 

Edit: after setting an entrance music in advanced and switching back to basic, and double checking everyone’s victory settings again just to be safe, the tag team steel bug seems to be solved. Thank you so much! Literally driving me nuts.
