cloudropis Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I skipped 2k18 altogether and only now about to get 2k19. I see some pretty great changes in the community already such as having a dedicated wiki, but whenever I think about getting the game I'm attacked by the PTSD caused by the other games. A few questions about that: - How stable are saves this time? Unfortunately a quick google search tells me save corruption is still an ever living possibility, and two years later the always great @Cave Waverider is still helping people with safe backup procedures. 2k16 was terrible about that, instant save corruption pretty much as soon as you reached over 1000 logos. 2k17 was a bit better and at least let you delete them manually. How is 2k19 compared to the two? - How's performance? Part of the reason I skipped 2k18 is because I was afraid my GTX 960 wouldn't survive the graphical overhaul. Now I have a rx 580 4gb which is above recommended. Are old bugs like random slowdowns during camera cuts still in? - Any other big happenings in the modding community? I recognize pretty much all modding tools suggested in the wiki, same old then? - Has the CAW community improved in numbers compared to past years? Quote
