So I've followed Red Rooster's tutorial on editing the string.pac file to edit wrestler names, but for some reason I never have any luck. I've been trying to replace JBL's name with RVD for a few hours now. I've tried the tutorial on all the dlc string files as well as the regular one located within the "game" folder, but to no avail. I noticed I haven't seen many questions or topics regarding the string file on PS3, so I'm wondering if it's even possible to rename superstars on the PS3 version of the game? If so, is it the same tutorial presented by Red Rooster?

hi, did you read this topic?

It is possible to rename them, I have so done myself with help of X-Packer.
