Tarnathos
hi all, I am currently adding mods from previous games to 2k19 and there seems to be again an issue with some crashing the game, which worked before in 2k18/2k17. Has someone experienced the same? Could it be again the issue with an old OBJ file? Tried to fix some mods with using a 2k19.pach file but that did not solve the issue
WhereTheFdidTheEgo
If there are any yobj files in the PACH that are named 001A or 001B, you need to rename them to 2716, 2717, etc and rebuild the PACH. If that doesn't do it, you could try to remove some of the .dat files.
Tarnathos
Thank you for that advice, unfortunately renaming the .yobjs did not solve the issue. Kind of frustrating. Which .dat files have you removed to get them working?

I did help with one of the 2k18 mods which wouldn't load in 2k19 for a user some months back. A few files need to be removed from some of the character object files which cause crashes in 2k19, some also have uncompressed files in the pack. WWE 2k18 wasn't too fussy with handling these. 2k19 is another story altogether.
Tarnathos
It seems that I have found the solution: I decompressed the pach archive and recreated a new compressed one with only following files 0000.yobj, 000A, 000C, 00CA, 00CD, 00CE, 0050, 0100, 2580 and then the hair file as well the additional .yobj files. I used for those 2717 and then 5606-5608. I have tested that now with 3 mods which have worked in 2k18 and were now crashing...now they are working 1
zhigge
Wouldnt it been more helpful to include the name of the files you were having problems with to help others avoid reinventing the wheel? Just an idea

Steps and what tool (or tools) to use?
Tarnathos
You need X-Packer for this. 1.Open the .pac file which is crashing and extract the pach 2. Open the pach and hit the decompress all button. 3. Delete all files except the ones named above. 4. Create new pach file and select only the ones named above and then inject this again into the .pac file That is still working for me fixing crashing mods
