zatruciekodeina Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 So, I love playing WWE 2K series, but don't have that much time. Usually I play one or two matches per launch and waiting for game to run when modded isn't the most pleasant thing. So I decided to not add any wrestlers but caws. They are good enough for me, so there's no problem with that. But...I like the idea of being able to mod. I already replaced music, I know I can inject logos through pacs, but I am interested in what else can I do without "destroying" the structure of original game. Is it possible to inject titantrons/minitrons? I can replace others, that's not a problem. And what else is possible? Quote
SeeFusion Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Yes you can replace trons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7pcMQesG-k Quote
zatruciekodeina Posted June 24, 2019 Author Posted June 24, 2019 Thank you for your reply. To be honest, I've already managed to replace trons. Is there any way to replace models and textures? Tried to replace old dean ambrose with the new one, but my game crashes if I only install perfectplextra/superstring and replace old dean ambrose pac with the new one...Dunno if it's the chunk0 fault or mine. Cave Waverider Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Once you start replacing or adding .pac files, you'll have to clear your Chunk0.arc, which means longer game startup times. You're pretty limited without doing so. In theory one could rebuild the Chunk0.arc file to match your modded files and not lose the fast game startup with mods, but I don't think anyone has been able to fully figure it out yet. You can always hit the toilet or go grab a drink or snack while you wait for the game to start up otherwise. Having the OS and game installed on a fast SSD with 16MB or more of RAM with a fast CPU in the system can help with startup times as well (but they will still take a while with a clear Chunk0.arc. 1 Quote
Sonia_Bayley Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 You can also replace Theme Songs without clearing your chunk file. Titantrons/Minitrons can also be replaced and modded. Quote

I dont experience long load times anymore especially with 2k19 but a SSD & lots of ram is key. 2k17 & 2k18 is the two games I experience long load times with mods installed Quote
zatruciekodeina Posted June 25, 2019 Author Posted June 25, 2019 To be honest, I haven't tried to clear chunk0 in 2k19, so maybe I'll get it to work. Unfortunately, I got only 8gb of ram. If I make backup copy of my chunk0, I can copy it once again to get faster loading times again, right? Nevermind, gonna try it anyway. Wish me luck! Quote
