Is it ok to delete files after they are injected?

If I import/inject a pac file into the game using CCT does that make a copy of it or do I need to keep the file? Will deleting it cause it to be removed from the game if its saved in a folder on my desktop, but injected?

CCT will put a (modified) copy of the file into the WWE 2k19\mods\CCT\... folder (which the game will access). Thus it isn't necessary to keep the original file after injecting.
