making my own renders

ok guys, you got me fixed up fast today, so I have some of the png files I need for missing renders, but I don't know how to get to 1mb and dds?

 

any help would be great, thanks again

Hi, There is a tutorial for renders in the TOOLS AND RESOURCES SECTION.

my apologies, that is for the model renders, I have the real pic png files I want to make, thanks tho

I understand. You will need the tools listed in that tutorial. Its the same process. You will still obtain the same filesize.

I use photoshop for instance , with a Nvidia or intel dds plugin installed.

You will need a sample A render dds and a B render DDS image. Load each one and import your image as a layer. You then resize your image to the size of the dds render image. remove the dds image render, then save as DDS (DXT5 interpolated alpha)
