Replacing String Name

I'm trying to edit the string file to include a name that isn't there.  I am overwriting Marlena (7 letters) with Mansoor (7 letters).  I've gone through the string and replaced every Marlena w/ Mansoor however on the wrestler select screen it still shows as Marlena.  I've also used Wrestle Plus under edit string and changed Marlena to Mansoor but still the same issue.

Any other advice?

I use CCT. Haven't really messed with WrestlePlus since 2k17. But you should be able to go to pac/string/win/string_win.pac and edit the strings. Have you tried editing the strings manually inside the Plus intall folder?

Yes to the second part, that was what I tried first and didn't work so I put my back up back in the pac folder.  Then I tried WrestlePlus.  I couldn't find where to edit in CCT? I just see install string.
