Too many CAW's

I think I may already know the answer to this, but I figure it's worth a shot.  Between 2 different universes, I have hit the cap of 100 CAW's.  Is there a way to store/back some of them up as I begin creating another unique universe?  Or am I stuck with the task of winnowing out some permanently?

well you can archive this current save save file somewhere safe .... delete not required ones. make new and when you want to go back to these just replace and archive current save ................... this way you can have millions of save files ....replacing all the time depending on your current need ...
