ahunter8056 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Hi. I'm trying to port a couple of 2K18 entrances over to add pyro back. At the minute I'm concentrating on Jeff Hardy. I've tried copying a few files from my 2K18 game folder (pretty much anything that ends in 116_p30.pac). I've got the pyro lighting effect copied over fine, but not the pyro itself. I can't seem to find the correct file for it. I've tried looking in the evt folder, the effect folder, and the particle folder. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Quote

In addition to the particle folder, you also need files from the pac\gimmick folder for pyros. 1 Quote
ahunter8056 Posted April 14, 2019 Author Posted April 14, 2019 Thanks to the kind help provided by @squaredcirclefan, I managed to get Jeff Hardy's entrance pyro back again. However, I am unfortunately unable to get Neville's pyro back so far. I've done the same steps as I did for Jeff Hardy. I copied files from the evt folder, effect folder, the lighting folder, the gimmick folder, and the particle folder. No effect so far, apart from the fact that I have the sound effect of the pyro, without any visible pyro. If anyone has successfully copied Neville's 2K18 entrance back into 2K19 with pyro, I just want to make sure that I have copied the correct files. I went by the file numbers provided in the 2K18 Data Editor. Neville's 2K18 entrance is listed under the number "189". Neville's pyro is listed as "Neville 4", under the number "5302". So I copied the files for 189 from the evt, effect, and lighting folder, and copied the files for 5302 from the gimmick and particle folders. Are there some files I've missed, or am I copying the wrong files? Quote

If you are porting entrance 189, you need to locate and copy the pce60189.pac file from the pac/particle folder and the gmev0189.pac file from the pac/gimmick folder, the el00189.pac light file and the 00189.pac effects file. 1 Quote
