For instance with this mod and the sound.pac mod, If you wanted to inject John Moxley's announcer name over Brutus Beefcakes, you don't need to use Beefcake's slot for your character. You simply assign Brutus Beefcakes call name to a mod slot so Brutus beefcake is announced in any slot of your choice. This will also avoid having Beefcake's commentary. As renders can now be applied to modded slots, there is no need for replacing in-game characters anymore. I will have to see if I can locate these names you listed from the bank of Jojo or Lilian Garcia's ring announcer audio as I use a mixture of these to put the names together. I will look into it. These ID's link all the announce names for a superstar to a particular slot. There is a tutorial on the tutorial and resources section. You need to search for Summer Rae in sound editor when you open the ra_m.pck file and inject Buddy Murphy's audio over it. I had put up a tutorial on modifying the sound p30.pac file as everyone will have individual preferences as to names they wouldn't mind injecting over. If you let me which name you want to inject CM punk's over , then I will mod the sound_p30.pac file and send it to you. . One thing to note is we haven't been able to figure out how the sound ID's match up to the ID's in the CCT slots. You will notice the ram_pck file has a list of announce audio for each character. By default each ingame character has about 4 or 5 audio lines. Lets look at Beecake for instance. Here is a list of announce audio lines for his character Brutus Beefcake And Brutus Beefcake Brutus Beefcake (used in a tag match) Accompanied by Brutus Beefcake (used when selected as a manager) Brutus Beefcake has been eliminated (elimination matches or Royal Rumble) each has it's own ID in sound editor. All these lines are mapped to one ID with 4 bytes called a ring announcer ID and assigned to a particular slot. This is the same for every ingame character. The characters removed from 2k19 only have parts of their audio in the game Summer Rae And Summer Rae Summer Rae (tag match) the other two are not recorded or were removed for these characters. The ring announcer ID's are not located in the sound editor ID lists but are located in the Ring announcer script data found in the sound_p30.pac file. This data lists the ring announcer ID's and the character slots they are assigned to. The ID's have not changed from last year . removed 2k19 characters still have the same ID from 2k18. What I did was locate Summer Rae's 2k18 ring announcer ID in the 2k18 sound file, copy it over to 2k19 and assign it to Buddy Murphy's slot. The ring announce ID script only affects the ring announcer. The commentary is separate as the commentary script works on a more complex algorithm. We can't remove the superstar specific commentary from the slots in 2k19 as we could in 2k18 . This is why it's probably not best to use an in-game character slot for your mod. As I mentioned before, you will need to use a slot for a mod, install your character over that slot, assign Beefcake's ring announcer ID to that slot (which I will do). I can resintall Moxley over Doink The Clown's slot (931) if you want. For example, I installed Hunter Hearst Helmsley to slot 485, and in Data Editor assigned him Triple H's call name in the Commentary field. I thought maybe this would affect the call name too, and JoJo would call out "Triple H" but no such luck. Hi, You need to modify the sound_p30.pac file located in the pac/ audio folder to assign call names to modded slots. You can't assign it through Data editor. What you see in Data Editor is the Commentary ID. This is somehow linked to the Victory name announcement, that's why when you set the commentary ID to that of an ingame super star , you get the name announced in a victory animation. Hi, The Benoit and Scott Steiner will not work unless they are injected into the ring announcer audio for a character mapped to their slots. I had mapped Jimmy Jam Garvin and Buddy Roberts to the Dudleys slot, whereas I have not done the same for Benoit and Steiner. which characters audio did you inject theirs over ?
