Themes Randomly Getting Deleted

Recommended Posts

So this has happened to me twice now.  The other day I added a custom theme into the Underground 1 slot and then the next day it randomly disappeared from the sound editor and in the game there was no sound, and now today it happened again with the Sports 1 theme, which I also edited.  How do I fix this and get them back?

Restore a backup from Sound Editor's backup folder.

Did you perhaps mess with the data.xml file and delete entries in there by mistake?

where do I find the backup folder?  No I just added the custom themes I wanted and then closed it.  Do I have to do anything to make it not delete?

just looked in the backup folder and there's nothing in there

Sound Editor\backup? Well, if you've unticked Settings->Settings->Create Backups or you don't have enough space on the disk Sound Editor is installed on, the backups won't be created.

In that case, you'll have to Verify your game files with Steam (Right click on WWE 2k19 in the games list, Properties->Local Files->Verify integrity of game files). This will re-download and replace all the files with the original version. Make sure to manually backup any modded files that aren't inside the \WWE 2k19\mods folder (the game won't replace the content of that folder). After the verification and re-download is complete, exit Steam and Regenerate the Chunk0.def file via CCT to re-enable the mods in the \mods\ folder and Clear the Chunk0.arc again. Then restore any mods in the titantron folder etc. (but not the sounds folder, since those gave you trouble!) you have backed up.
