WhereTheFdidTheEgo
This is how I replicated the look of the normal map file(belt_n.dds): I opened my modified belt.dds file in Photoshop cs6 and followed the instructions given here, which resulted in a blue normal map file, so I then added a color overlay using color sampled from the original normal map file and the blend mode set to "Hard Light", which resulted in this, so then I just copy/pasted the bottom portion over top of the original normal map file, resulting in this, then I saved it as a .png and used the copy/delete/paste/save with correct DXT settings method to save it and maintain the original file size. (I know I forgot to change the word entertainment on this one as well, it's still very much a W.I.P ) Edited December 23, 2018 by WhereTheFdidTheEgo . matt2282p
One option is to delete that belt_p.dds and then color and normal it as you would regular gear. Allowing you to paste a good irl pic into the belt.dds file. rather than trying to recreate the silvering effect of the multiple textures files. You can open my tag team belt mod and see what I did with the texture archive Edited December 23, 2018 by matt2282p
WhereTheFdidTheEgo
@matt2282p Thanks, that's not a bad idea, I would need to find a way better reference pic than the one I have though That might work for the blue attitude era belt I want to make though I found out that if you open both files(belt.dds and belt_p.dds) in Paint.Net, you can copy/paste the WWF logos and it will paste it in the exact location it was cut out from so you don't have to manually line it up like in PS, then I just had to manually color the WWF logos pink, and the other parts around it blue(https://imgur.com/a/PsK4z3J), tested in game with the other two and it looks great, other than the brightness of the belts... it's really terrible this year, going to mess with the file and try to make that better, I think I read something somewhere that said you can adjust the brightness in the alpha channel in one of these files to fix that.
