Modding affecting Tower gameplay

I've noticed after doing some minor modding in the WWE 2k19 game on pc, Whenever I attempt to play the 2k Towers or MyPlayer towers the characters involved tend to change but the models in the ring as the opponent is always just Braun Strowman with the other character's moveset.  I also noticed in the MyPlayer towers, MyPlayer comes out introduced as Aj Styles and has the model a basic guy, much like the one we see when creating the movesets (moveset guy).  I have been using only Cheat Engine when doing the modding and a little bit of Data Editor 2019.  I know about Pozzum's products but dont use any of them except for the Memory table.  I don't really know what causes this issue but it was cool at first and now it's just getting annoying fighting Braun all the time.  I'm thinking maybe it will fix the issue if i put the original "string" file back in the game but I dont know yet.  If anyone has any ideas on how to fix the issue... let me know.
