Help redeeming Ronda/Rey please?

So I bought the Standard Digital Version and to my surprise Ronda and Rey weren’t included. I was gutted so I went on eBay and saw a few people selling the pre order codes. I bought one off this guy and when I entered the code, it did show up. I confirmed the download however they’re not showing up in my game.

The download itself on Xbox falls under “Queue” (and yes it’s 100% downloaded) but when I go to “Manage game and add ons”, it’s not there. 

 

Its like Xbox is recognizing the add on is part of the Deluxe Edition and because I don’t have the Deluxe Edition, it’s not letting me use them... help please? I know you can get these two with the Standard Edition cause I went into GameStop today and it says “Comes with Ronda and Rey” on the cover. So I know I didn’t have to splash out the bucks for the Deluxe Edition to play as them.

He gave me another code and it says “Available: 6/11/2018” before I redeem it... but I know people have them in the game NOW so why is it making me wait?

the issue is they were pre order/deluxe edition characters, but they will be available as dlc on the date you said, should of just bought the deluxe edition

But these codes were included in the standard edition disc? So if you activated the one in the booklet, would it not work either?

no you have to wait until the day they are released to standard edition owners
