Manager Promos in Universe Mode

Since they've been added this year, and I've seen Heyman have a call out promo with other talents, does anyone know if a male manager can call out a female, or vice versa?

For example, if Paul Heyman is level 3 manager of Charlotte, and the call out promo has Charlotte calling out Becky Lynch, does Heyman speak on behalf of Charlotte? Or is it just Charlotte & Becky in the call out? Same applies to if Vega is managing Almas, does she speak on behalf of him if a guy is called out?
