Xbox buttons onscreen instead of ps buttons

 Is there any way to show the ps buttons instead of xbox buttons in game ? whether through a mod or another utility?

Weird, I'm pretty sure that when you plug in your PS4 controller, it should show the PS button layout. The only issue I can think of is if you're using a third party PlayStation controller and it's reading as a Xbox controller on PC.

Oh that's probably why. PS3 controllers are not natively supported for PC unless you are using a third party program, like SCP Toolkit, to get your PS3 controller running on PC. If you are, it's probably making it detect as an Xbox controller because that's how that program works. To my knowledge, I don't think there's a way to make it show as PS button layout unless you use a PS4 controller.

I use official PS4 controllers and it still shows up Xbox layout in game. Any fix?

Are you using an XInput emulator (software or hardware - usually makes the controller to be recognized as Xbox 360/One controller which is required for many games since the PS4 Controller doesn't offer native XInput support)? If so, try disabling it and run the controller natively (might have to reboot and reconnect the controller).

Another option would be to find the texture files where the game's button images are stored and modify that with images of the buttons of your choice.

Hey Cave. Na, I'm not using any sort of software. I go through the Steam setup for my PS4 controller and it just shows up in game as Xbox.
