Missing match types

I noticed one of my favourite match types is no-longer possible. 

Triple threat with elimination custom setting aka 3-way dance. 

I was under the impression that 2k were building on the match types from 2k18.

Surely some mistake? Would this be the kind of thing they would fix with a patch?

I noticed that too. Quite the inconvenience that they would remove that option. I'm sure if there's enough demand for it, they will probably patch it in.
