amazing-maze Posted August 26, 2018 Author Posted August 26, 2018 Are you talking about HxD? This year editing the pac file is so different from 2k16.... 1 Quote
Cave Waverider Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Hex Editor is a hex editor. The thing is, 2k17 and later use a different, compressed and encrtypted format. You'll have to convert them to 2k16-style archives first before you can change these things. It's easiest to just set the file names to the desired ID, attire number and type and use CCT's Install option to install them to the game. CCT will automatically convert the .pac files you install to the old format and set the ID, attire number and type to the way it is set in the file name if required. Read the installing mods wiki entry to learn how to do that. Another, much more tedious option is to manually convert the .pac file yourself by extracting the archive and injecting the extracted file(s) into a suitable .pac archive from 2k16 (or build one from scratch).
