Impaler Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 Hi guys, I'm looking to change these short videos that are played when you hit PLAY Where are they stored? For example WM15 arena has no dedicated video and 2K14 logo is just shown. That is good enough for me to show it in all replaced arenas. How hard is it to do? Anyone have any pointers for me? Quote
Impaler Posted April 23, 2018 Author Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) I dove into this and had the success but also I ran into problems and I have no idea why its not working. I extracted transitions to use on 2k14 from other games as 13 and 15, WL. Then I follow the tutorial to the word. Most of my changed transition screens work perfect but I got like 4 which are done exactly as they should be and I get no animation. just a black screen and loading begins. as if the transition video was skipped. And what's more strange that for example I have used the same source for 2 videos just made different paddings to increase the sizes correctly. One of them loads, other one doesnt. I tried choosing another video, recompressing it with radtools padding out to match the size. it stays black. then I inject back in the original file (superstars logo) and it works seems like that slot only favors the original file and wont take a replacement even if itis identical to the byte. any advice for me here? @N'Jadaka @Red Rooster Edited April 24, 2018 by Impaler Quote
Red Rooster Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Your bik video has to have an Alpha otherwise it will just show as black. If you click on File info in RadTools and it says Alpha Plane : No then your video doesnt have an Alpha. 2 Quote

Impaler Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 YES! It worked! Big Thanks @Red Rooster! You're a great tag team partner or a manager I have no idea why these RAD Tools decided to drop alpha layer for some of the videos but once I redone them it went nicely and quality drop is non visible at all. 1 Quote
