Is it possible to edit a modded superstar?

Whenever I go in CAW I see not only for modded wrestlers but for in-game superstars as well many renders among the original. I tried to edit CM Punk but he has 4-5 renders, I clicked two of them and the game crash. So I cant edit modded wrestlers?
