Clarityman Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Hey all, I used to add new titantrons for CAWs in 2k16 and 2k17 all the time using Cheat Engine, no problem. Add the hex address, change the value, save your savegame data, and done... right? But in 2k18 it's not working at all for Advanced Titantron Hex values. I go to "Add Address Manually," paste the value from the Advanced Titantron Hex section of the Memory Sheet, but instead of a result reflection a titantron value (like 12300) it's a string of numbers, like 1471371137. When I change the value, the titantron remains unchanged in the entrance. Anyone have any ideas as to the problem? This used to be so easy...? Quote
Cave Waverider Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 It works just like in previous games. If you can't get it to work manually, simply export the CAW's .moveset into Data Editor for WWE 2k18 using Custom Character Tools 2018 (click here for a Tutorial on how to export to Data Editor using CCT) and simply change the Tron ID there, then use the Install via CCT button to inject the edited .moveset file back into the game. I had the same exact thought, but when I go to export pofo/moveset in CCT, I only have options to export/import unused slots. Please see below: https://imgur.com/a/5imrt I have no idea why this is the case. As you can see, all CAW slots I've filled are unavailable on CCT. I am using the newest version. At the same time, I have absolutely no problem manually changing other titantrons, but the Advanced Hex Values are not titantron values when viewed in Memory Viewer. Is it possible that the hex values are off somehow?? EDIT: Nevermind! Someone pointed out to me that I need to be looking for the CAW name, not CAW #. I still think there might be something wrong with the Advanced hex values, but I'll just use CCT. Thanks for the help! Edited March 23, 2018 by Clarityman Quote

Where did you get those values from? If it works with the CCT/Data Editor method, then your source probably has wrong addresses set. And yes, CCT now reads out the CAW name (and also passes the name to Data Editor when you export stuff directly into Data Editor), it's actually more convenient since you never know which CAW slot a CAW is in as the game no longer lists them since 2k17. You just need to get used to it, I guess. Quote

I got the values from the most recent Memory Sheet. As I said, it's totally a non-issue for me now as I'll just use Data Editor and CCT, but I did want to point out that something might be up with those values. Again, I've been using Cheat Engine for years, and I have no problem changing Easy Entrance or regular Superstar trons via Cheat Engine, so something might be going on with those Advanced values. Cave Waverider Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I see. They are marked in yellow, so they aren't accurate and were likely just guesses on Pozzum's part based on 2k17 data. Quote
