stebbinsd
Oh my god, the past few weeks have been a nightmare! I had to reinstall my OS after my hard drive died on me. This means I also had to uninstall and reinstall all my games, since they were married to the last OS install. I went and reinstalled WWE 2k18, but whenever I try to launch the game, I keep getting this message: Soon after my OS reinstall, I got this message also. Downloading and installing Microsoft .Net Framework seemed to fix that problem, and for a little while, I was able to play the game. But then my computer rebooted itself so it could install about two whole years worth of Windows updates I had installed previously but that got lost because I reinstalled my OS. Argh! Fine! Reinstall those damn updates! But then, this error message returned when I tried to play this game! Reinstalling the game (like the error message recommends) doesn't fix the problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling MS .Net Framework doesn't fix the problem! I could download this DLL file manually. But I have no idea which folder to save it to! Besides, how do I know the game will launch after that? Maybe it also needs another DLL file! Granted, that's not 2k's fault; it's Microsoft's fault for not telling me ALL the DLL files I should need that I don't already have so I can download all of them in one fell swoop. But it's still annoying. Any suggestions?
