El Guapo's Clean Up - WMX7 & Survivor Series 97

Howdy,

Admittedly I don't even use my XBox 360 that often anymore, however it has always bothered me that I have got so far with completely over-hauling my copy of 2K14 without ever actually 'completing' it.

Well a couple of weeks ago I began work on doing just that. No one releases stuff anymore and I figured I would just finish off my game, put a line under it and be content.

However, inspired by Titan's generosity in releasing that great William Lord Steven Regal pack (He's a Lord, I'm oldschool) I have decided to share these WWF arenas that I have knocked up in Photoshop.

I don't pretend that my efforts are as detailed as those done by more talented people previously, however (unless I am mistaken) those mods have not been widely shared so I have had a go myself.

 

1: Attitude Era WWF Raw is War

Needing more arenas with ramps, I created this one based on the old set for WCW Worldwide circa. 1992

I assume they would have used a similar set for live shows from around that time as well

5: Summerslam '88

From the Path of the Warrior DLC, WWF logos subbed in by me. There really wasn't much to change on this one, so I'll make up for it by doing a couple more arena mods later in the week

7: Wrestlemania IX

I know some of you have been waiting for this one! Unfortunately some of the WWF logos display in reverse (see below) due to THQ using the same assets in reverse - I guess it didn't matter when it just said "WW"

Best known as the location of Mick Foley's insane Hell in The Cell table bump

...also added Wrestlemania VIII. The Neon logo above the entrance isn't perfect due to something I can't find obscuring the image layer slightly

Thanks for the kind words, but it's all just Photoshop to swap a WW with a WWF!

Couldnt you UVWrap the object again to turn the texture around the right way?

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's a little beyond my skillset I'm afraid - I wouldn't know where to start

If you Open the yobj of the particular object in 3DSM you can then click Modifiers>UV Co-Ordinates>Unwrap UVW.

The click the Edit button in the right hand panel and you will see the UVW of the Object in a seperate window, you can then apply the texture to it to see its alignment.

You could then re-align the texture the correct way and then export the object and save it again in XRey.

Lookin good bud.. as far as the WWF logo on the entrance way of the WM 9 arena, there was a head of Caesar there anyways... 

 

here is how i did mine for the legends game.. .I had alot of trial and error with yobjs and moving stuff around.. and like Rooster said, unwrapping UVWs will open up all kinds of options... that and creating your own pach and textures pachs...

Well, having seen which arenas made it into the Legends game, I figured I was safe to finish off my run of "Getting the F Out" without fixing any arenas which had already been completed.
