WWE 2K18 DLC REVEALED

It’s time to pull back the curtain on WWE 2K18’s DLC content! Featuring fan-favorites The Hardy Boys, WWE Hall of Famers, current WWE Superstars, and some of the brightest NXT talent, in addition to new moves, and in-game bonuses, WWE 2K18’s DLC has something for everyone. 

The individual content packages will begin releasing in late 2017, with some packages releasing in early 2018, for the PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC.

Peruse the list below and rest easy if you are pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition or Cena (Nuff) edition as the complete Season Pass is included in those versions. Don’t forget that the Deluxe and Cena (Nuff) Editions also release four days early on October 13th and include Batista and Rob Van Dam as playable characters.
 

About the WWE 2K18 Downloadable Content Offerings*

WWE 2K18 downloadable content offerings are scheduled to include the following items and be available for purchase on the PlayStation™Network for the PS4™ system, Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft for Xbox One, Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch and Steam for Windows PC: 

 

Accelerator

Players will gain access to all unlockable content available at launch in the game’s VC Purchasable section (excluding downloadable content);

Players can also decide the overall rankings and attribute levels for all playable characters throughout the life of the product;

The Accelerator will be available for $4.99. 

 

Enduring Icons Pack

Playable WWE Superstars: The Hardy Boyz;

Playable WWE Hall of Famers: Beth Phoenix and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express;

The Enduring Icons Pack will be available for $9.99. 

 

MyPlayer Kick Start

Players will gain access to unlock and boost MyPlayer ratings and attributes made available at launch as part of the game’s MyCareer mode;

Players can also unlock all clothing made available at launch that provides attribute boosts in MyCareer;

MyPlayer Kick Start will be available for $9.99. 

 

New Moves Pack

Explore a wide variety of new in-game moves, including the Tie Breaker (made popular by WWE Superstar Tye Dillinger); the Crash Landing (made popular by NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno); the Pumphandle Death Valley Driver (made popular by NXT Superstar Akam); and the Swinging Sleeper Slam (made popular by WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page).

The New Moves Pack will be available for $3.99. 

 

NXT Generation Pack

Playable WWE and NXT Superstars: Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, Elias, Lars Sullivan and Ruby Riot;

The NXT Generation Pack will be available for $9.99.
 

About the WWE 2K18 Season Pass

Players may purchase select WWE 2K18 downloadable content at a reduced price point through the game’s Season Pass. For $29.99, a savings of more than 20 percent versus individual content purchases, players will receive the following items as they become available:

Accelerator;

Enduring Icons Pack;

MyPlayer Kick Start;

New Moves Pack;

NXT Generation Pack.

Really suprised no UK dudes, hopefully the moves pack is a bit heftier then years past to make up for it.

WOW only 10 superstars and no legends showcase mode this year, and they even have the cheek to ask for same price as last years season pass but with only half the amount of content.  What a rip off

Yes but there are some glaring ommissions that needed to be addressed, omissions that quite frankly offend me. There's Andrade Cien Almas, his exclusion in particular is quite offensive when you consider the current political climate in America right now, bro. Vito should've been included, that's transphobic right there, bro. Then there's Chyna, a women that broke down barriers, and built a career competing against men. Add to that, in her post wrestling career she signed the proper documentation relating to her sexual activities. Establishing that she understood the importance of affirmative consent, proving herself a role model to young girls everywhere. I call sexism, bro. We didn't even get a Whole Foods, neither as an arena, or as a playable character. I'm starting to think I should've gone with the PC version, because this shit isn't very PC, bro.

Not gonna lie.. Pretty disappointing list of DLC content. I don't even play MyCareer, but why in the world is boost $10? Lol and the accelerator goes up in price every year, right?

 

Whatever, I guess I'm happy we get RVD and the Hardy Boyz.. Maybe they should've saved some of the on disc roster for the DLC to make it sound beefier.. Like Bobby Roode, DIY.. Or do people on the DLC roster get a higher percentage from the game sales? 

 

No Almas or Liv is a head scratcher. I don't even watch NXT and I know those names. I know there are rumors Almas said no to being in the game, but thats probably BS. Why wouldn't he want $$ even if his contract is supposedly ending soon?

Happy that I probably won't be making any CAWs till the New Year. With this roster I'm definitely going to be too busy with Universe Mode to even think about a CAW. 

 

Now making alternate attires on the other hand 🤔

Only care about Drew McIntyre, Aleister Black, The Hardy Boyz and the moves pack. The rest is pretty meh. Fuck the MyPlayer Kickstarter, career mode is a waste of space. And who the fuck even is Lars Sullivan? We're seriously getting that guy I've never even heard of instead of Almas?
