Problem overwriting wrestlers

Recommended Posts

Okay so I've been using the tutorial below to overwrite a couple of recent releases.

The first one I did, I successfully overwrote Stardust with a great updated Cody Rhodes. I was able to install a new render and got that working as well. (Haven't tinkered with commentary stuff but I may do in the future). There were zero issues that I recall, everything works very well for me.

However I wanted to import the Hardyz into the game, so I overwrote Jack Swagger with Matt Hardy and Mark Henry with Jeff Hardy. I followed the exact steps (99% sure at least) that I used for my Cody import, the exact tutorial listed below. However the .pac install does not seem to work at all. The .pofo things work fine, but when I choose Matt Hardy, Jack Swagger comes out, and Mark Henry comes out for Jeff Hardy. (Kind of hilarious Mark Henry doing the Jeff Hardy entrance).

I'm sure I've made a mistake somewhere so can anyone help? I understand it's not a lot to go on but it's doing my head in. I didn't need to do any hex editing for my Cody install. ANy ideas on where I'm going wrong? Pretty new to WWE modding by the way.

Is it necessary for you to overwrite?

You can install in new slots

Anyways

  1. Check the slot of wrestler you want to replace ex. John Cena has 139
  2. Check the EMD no. of the new PAC file of the wrestler. It can be alteteres by opening the PAC file in hex editor and then going down to emd stuff where you notice something like this...13902...13904 and all. If the PAC file has a different emd no. than the slot you change the emd no. PAC
  3. Now you paste the PAC file in pac CH folder
  4. now you arrange a pofo
  5. Make sure the pofo you create or have is for the same slot
  6. Open the game
  7. Inject pofo using cheat engine when game is on
  8. Save the game by a roster change
  9. You're done
