J N Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) I solved this issue by using a different PACH file Hey! so i ran into another problem: Today I tried to create a Bret Hart 10 attire pack. After completing all the textures, I tried to inject each into a Pac using X-Packer 2017. The first 3 attires worked just fine. But attires 4-9 crash the game at the selection screen. I followed the same process for all of the Mods, what could the reason be? Possibly>>?: 1. I used the same patch file for all Mods and just kept injecting new 000A.zlibs - could this cause a problem? Steps (using Xpacker): DDS > outfit/kneepads > 000A.zlip > Pach file > Editable Pac file > Hex editor for correct slot. Lather, rinse, repeat. Why would this work for some attires but not others? 2. I edited and injected l_kneepad and r_kneepad into attires 4-9, which are the ones not working. I edited those files by simply switching the colours from black to pink or lighter pink. Then saved with same DDS settings and injected. I tested an earlier mod that I had switched kneepads on using the same process and it worked fine. Not this time though . I'm so bummed, I was all excited thinking I had created my first attire pack and then only 3/9 worked and I have no idea why Any help anyone can provide, as always, is greatly appreciated. UPDATE - I injected the attire AND edited kneepads ch06 into ch01 and it worked! So thankfully the problem is not with the DDS files. I guess the issue is from injecting attires into the same copied pac file? I just copied and pasted 9 of the same pacs maybe thats the problem?? Edited August 20, 2017 by Just Not Quote
TheOutsider Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 The problem is definitely not this. I think you made a mistake when installing alt attires. Did you use data editor? 1 Quote
