How do you make alt attires?

Hi again,

I'm trying to make extra attires in order to do an alternative attire pack (ex. chxxx12.pac, chxxx22.pac) but I'm having some trouble.

Tekken57's tutorial seems to be a bit out of date and I'm not sure I follow the steps he lists. Is the process mostly the same in X-Packer 2017?

I understand that you first need to extract the pach file and then inject it into some sort of dummy file? Is this still the way to do it? Any help would be great thanks a lot And sorry for flooding the help section. Perhaps someone reading this in the future that encounters similar problems can benefit from my cluelessness.

Do I need a dummy file as it says in Tekken's tutorial?

Is it basically injecting a alt pach file into a copied dummy file?
