Dann Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I keep encountering this problem every time I try and load the game. I've tried reinstalling and verifying the files. The Brock Lesnar screen is the only screen that appears before I get the error WWE2K17_x64.exe has stopped working. If anyone has any solutions to this, that would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks. GameElite™ Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Try opening the .exe from the game directory. Quote

Normally what happens is that when someone reinstall the game they do not empty the install folder. What this means that any new files will not be replaced so when the game is reinstalled without the Chunk Cache Files being emptied it will not load. If you want an unmodded game I suggest completely emptying your WWE 2K17 Folder and then Reinstalling / Verify game cache, this is the best way to get a clean install. If you want to mod the game empty the Chunk Cache Files Similar to this video. (Yes it's for 2K16 but it's the same process) Do this for both chunk_cache.bin and chunk_cache2.bin Quote

I'll try that and then reinstall and see what happens. Quote
