Edit 2nd attire texture?

Recommended Posts

For a quick test I made a alt attire for Billy Gunn. All I did was change the green trunks and knee pads to white. How can I find that pac file so I can add it as a 2nd attire with out using a Caw slot?

Or do I have to use the Xpacker, Pac Editor, Pac Tool method just to change the color of the attire?

You will need to use a pac editor that can extract the 000C & 000A file and reinject them back in... Once you've done that you edit the textures and reinject everything. That's basic talk, there's plenty of tutorials around the forums.

This is a tutorial for WWE 2K15. With a few different shortcuts in xpacker it's near enough the same.

I assume you made the attire with the in-game CAS feature. CASs are different, they aren't saved in the same format as normal wrestlers. Thus you can't use them as modded wrestlers.

You'll have to create a proper texture mod if you don't want it to take a CAS slot.

Yea I was just looking through the tuts and learning how to do it. I was just wondering if there was a easier way. I don't want to do all that just to change a color from green to white you know lol. What would I use to add clothing items or remove clothing from a modded wrestler? I'm sure that's a whole list of things for that too huh? Like add a shirt to someone.

Texture modding (especially when all you do is change colors or do minor edits to existing textures) is actually rather quick if you get the hang of it.

As for adding shirts or other gear, that is more tricky, as it requires taking objects from other wrestlers and then adjusting them to fit the model with a 3D modelling program.

Damn nothing is easy to mod in this game lol I have a Al Snow mod but it's not the attire I wanted. Now I'm going to have to learn a whole bunch of things just to throw a shirt on him. Might as well keep him the way he is then.

It's a useful skill to know, it isn't too tricky to do once you've got the hang of it.

Ok, not going to lie it probably will bother me down the line. Is there a tutorial for that process somewhere?
