How can I change which slot a modded attire shows up in?

So I have two attires, Summerslam 15 Seth Rollins and Wrestlemania 33 Seth Rollins. They both take up the 3rd slot (files are both ch36922.pac and ch36924.pac), but I want to be able to use both of them. I've seen how to rename attires but not how to change which slots they show up in. Simply renaming the first '2' in each pac file doesn't work.

On a side note, why are they in the 3rd attire slot if the pac file says they would be in slot #2? Is it because 0 is technically the first slot, with 1 being the second, and so on and so forth?

The last digit represents whether or not it is an entrance attire (2=ring attire, 4= entrance attire).

The second last digit represents the attire slot (0=attire1, 9=attire10, etc).

You have to edit the pac name as well as the emd inside the pac.

How do I go about this? Specifically editing the emd inside the pac. I'm sure it's quite simple but I haven't been able to find a tool, or at least how to use one, that can do that.

Data Editor and Pac Editor seem like good bets but I'm not sure what I'd need to do with them.

You need a hex editor (ex: HxD). Open the pac in the hex editor. search for "emd". Change the number.

Note: This only worked if the mod is packed in a 2k16 style pac. For 2k17 style pacs they will need to be repacked.

Thanks! I suppose I'll google the rest about how to repack 2K17 pacs, if need be. How often do modders pack using the 2K16 style?

I would say most modders pack stuff in 2k16 format and everything downloaded from 2K17+ should be 2k16 format.

The repacking is a matter of extracting the SDHC file inside of your ch pac and then injecting it over the PACH inside of a 2K16 ch pac.
