Kote441 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Hello people, tell me please about the import of wrestlers from 2k15 / 16 in 2k17. Pac files smaller than 80 mb I just throw from ch'16 to ch'17. I install pofo and moveset. And a new wrestler in the game. And about pacs larger than 80 mb I was told that they will crash the game when choosing a wrestler. Tell me how to import pac files larger than 80 mb? Need to take a pac file out of 17 and inject into it a pach file of 16 or somehow on another it's done? Quote

You will have to unpack the pach files and then inject the contents back into the pac by inject with zlib. Then inject the pach back into the top pac and it should work. There's also a 2k16 to 2k17 specific port tutorial here: http://riffhold.com/1ViB Keep in mind mods made with 2k15 files that require animations - the animations will not work in 2k17. You will need to recreate them with 2k16/2k17 similar objects (see the 2k15 to 2k17 tutorial in the first link and see how I ported Kane over) I hope that helps. If I had to guess there is a corruption in the moveset somewhere. Or there is a move that is referenced that doesn't exist in 2k17 that did in previous games. Quote
pozzum Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 yeah somewhat sounds like you may of used a 2K16 moveset in 2K17 or perhaps some sort of port of one that is not really perfect. Movesets should probably be primarily made in game and then say edited in data editor. the movesets on 2K17+ are made from other users so I can't always say if they are perfectly working or not. I'm porting James Storm. After watching the video and dancing with a tambourine, I created a viable pattern that did not crash the game, but it turned out with another haircut. Can I somehow through X-Ray insert a new yobj-2k17 file from the old yobj-2k15? That is, there are 2 objects in yobj. 1 - object 0 - hairstyle from 2k15 and 2 - object 1 - animation from 2k17? I did the extract object 0 of 2k15-yobj, I wanted to inject it into 2k17-yobj, but there's some kind of error. Type Vertex and Face parameters have different meanings Quote

Type Vertex and Face parameters have different meanings you may be better off unrengering the static part of the hair using anatomizer and adding the static 2K15 as an additional yobj part with the build pach function. However I'm not 100% sure. Quote

Those mods in which you just need to transfer 0000, 000A and 000C are imported without any problems. But there are mods with additional slots, for example 2716.yobj, 001A, 001B & etc. These modifications do not work when importing. Please tell me how to import them correctly. I have a problem with eg No Way Jose. For some reason, he has a model of the torso in 001A, and a model of the legs in 001B Quote
