GAME CRASH... MODDING LIMIT?

I posted this elsewhere but to no avail so i'll try again here:

 

I used CCT to install some renders:

  • Buddy Roberts
  • JImmy Garvin
  • Kevin Von Erich
  • Scott Hall
  • Stephanie McMahon (Diva)
  • Sycho Sid
  • Typhoon

Now my game will not start (Crashes on splash screen), it was working fine before.

I tried reinstalling them (Incase of some error on my part) and then again with a render that I know works fine, but still the problem persists, could a faulty address have messed things up? could somebody please help?!?!

 

EDIT: FIXED BODGED

I managed to temp fix the problem by going to pac/menu/assets/wwe17_singleread/texture/ssface/custom... and then deleting the recently added files but I'm still no wiser as to the cause and now the wrestlers in question don't have any render at all

I since tried re-adding them 1 by 1 and it seems that they all cause the crash but changing an existing one does not, I currently have 175 files exactly in these custom a/b/c folders, is this the limit? 

Since the problem arose I managed to install John Morisson fine through WWE 2k17+ but I am now trying to install some Kane attires and everything I add to the game seems to make it crash, have I reached some kind of file limit here?

I remember something similar with 2k14 ps3. The game crashed also at start with an forever spinning wwe Logo. There is maybe a maximum number of pach files you can add.

I think this is unfixable. Do you know how many extra pach files you have added? Wrestler pach files + render pach files?

I've actually been replacing the characters already in the game, but also adding complete renders and a lot of extra attires so sounds like you're probably right, then issue is with total pach number and its not a cache/ram size thing?

Bollocks.

It may help if you remove pach files of stuff you never use like create a caw or create an arena.

Looks like that's how its gonna have to be. At a quick guesstimate I bet there's about 999 files there or thereabouts so it makes sense. I'm getting pretty close anyway now so it's not the end of the world, guess ill have to delete some stuff. Thanks very much for your help!

It would seem upon further investigation that the renders folders (custom a/b/c/...) all have a file limit of 175 and are 1 in 1 out whereas the pac/ch folder does not work like this, it seems as though maybe the limit is 32gb, in that case is there any way the issue with the pac/ch folder may be fixable by raising this number somehow?
